Things have been interesting over the last few months, haven't they?
In any case, it was a humbling experience for all of us. An invisible little microbe has shaken the foundations of the whole of humanity.
It's time to realize and see our interdependence. We are interconnected to everything and to each other. Hence Hubu's slogan: "I am because we are."
Our teams went from the office to the house. Panic set in. Uncertainty presented itself. There was no question of doing things the same way as before.
So how do we guide our teams through this time of uncertainty?
We need to move towards more human leadership. A sense of belonging has become a priority. According to Deloitte, Human Capital Trends, May 202093% of leaders agree that a sense of belonging leads directly to organizational performance. However, only 13% say they are ready to address it.
The question is, why? Is it because we don't know how to do it? Is it because the concept of a sense of belonging is too "cheesy" and only a matter for the HR department and coaches? Or is it too conceptual?
If it's important to create more of a sense of belonging right now, why not do it more with your team?
