Introducing "Food for Thought" #31. The formula is simple: three short messages once a week to feed your mind.

Teamwork

A pitfall in team development

Busyness. The busier we are, the less time we take as a team to connect, be together and align. To avoid this trap, stick to your good team habits, for example:

  • A human exchange at the start of meetings
  • Reflect on strategic actions
  • Taking stock of projects
  • Celebrating success

Motivation

The danger of success

On the other side of success sometimes lies unintentional complacency. Here are 4 strategies to stop it:

  1. Set yourself a bold new goal: The enemy of success lurks in the loss of a thirst to pursue new heights. A new goal will motivate you to maintain the good habits that made you successful in the first place.
  2. Constantly scan for new threats: Even when things are going well, there are always blind spots. Identify these risks and, above all, be prepared to tackle them head-on if they arise.
  3. Maintain self-discipline: Don't get carried away by excessive celebration. Remain disciplined in the habits and actions that brought you your first success.
  4. Constantly strive to improve: Remember that life is a long marathon with no definite finish line (only refreshment points along the way). Remain open and curious to the new learning opportunities that each refreshment point brings.

Leadership

Be radical

"You have to act as if it's possible to radically transform the world. And you have to act that way all the time."

-Angela Davis
