Introducing "Food for Thought" #25. The formula is simple: three short messages once a week to feed your mind.

Leadership

Be a Chief Reminding Officer

"I've already communicated the vision, why should I repeat it?"

Because contexts and people are constantly changing. In a dynamic environment, people need familiar things to hold on to. As a leader, it's your responsibility to create a safety net by contextualizing and constantly giving the desired direction.

    Teamwork

    Go with the flow

    "You can't shoot a flower to make it grow faster.

    -African proverb

      Productivity

      Discipline = Opportunity

      Everything I've achieved in my life has been initiated by discipline. They are small seeds that we sow and nurture on a daily basis to one day see the birth of a large garden. This week, I'm lucky enough to be a finalist with Hubu in the Young Enterprise Grant of the Jeune Chambre de Commerce de Québec. True to form, I vowed to leave nothing to chance. Preparation was my mantra for the past week.

      Whether or not I win the $60,000 goods and services bursary, I'm proud of how far I've come. It's not what you get for achieving your results that counts, it's what you become.
