The 4-day week: realistic or not?
100 years ago, we went from a 6-day week to a 5-day week. Now, in 2023, is it possible to switch to a 4-day week while maintaining the same pay and results? The 4 Day Week project has been investigating this question since 2022. Here are the results:
- The study uses the 100-80-100 model, which means 100% remuneration for 80% of the time worked, in exchange for a commitment to deliver 100% performance.
- A total of 91 companies and around 3,500 workers from countries including Ireland, the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and now the UK have taken part in the 4 Day Week pilot projects.
- 91% of organizations have decided to continue the 4-day week
- Revenues for these companies increased by 35% compared with similar periods in previous years.
- Reduced burnout, stress and fatigue
- Increased employee satisfaction and well-being
The 5-day week is rooted like a truth in our deepest beliefs. What if we allowed ourselves to change our attitude to the world of work? What possibilities might emerge?

Leadership
The secret of highly committed teams
Organize one-on-one meetings with your team members. Take the time to get to know them personally. What motivates them? What are they passionate about? What are their ambitions? That way, you can tailor an employee experience to their reality.
Productivity
The importance of habits
"Excellence is an art that can only be achieved through constant practice. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence is therefore not an action, but a habit."
