Introducing "Food for Thought" #16. The formula is simple: three short messages once a week to feed your mind.

 Teamwork

What distinguishes successful teams from dysfunctional ones?

It's not the number of "superstars" on the team, but rather psychological safety, or the ability to address a situation without fear of reprisal.

The harder it is for your team to address problems, the harder it will be to solve them. Unaddressed and unresolved problems are the most likely to become real obstacles to the mission.

Leadership

Better to try than to do nothing

The price of inaction is far greater than the cost of making a mistake. It's better to try and risk making a mistake than to analyze and wonder what could go wrong.

Productivity

Always wanting more...

Being the best, the fastest or not good enough often masks the need to be loved. What if the posture shifted from wanting to be loved to loving? Here are a few questions to get you started:

  1. What feels right in the moment?
  2. Am I serving the ego or the mission?
  3. Am I surviving or living?
  4. Who am I currently helping?
  5. Am I happy?
